Cloth Diapering
I must admit... I am addicted to cloth diapering. I wish the thought would have crossed my mind with my first two! Every time I change my daughters diaper, I feel so good about it! The mere thought of the amount of damage me diapering my boys has caused this incredible Earth terrifies me, and leaves me guilt ridden. I do my best to not let it get me down too far. I am Cloth Diapering now. Its not like I have turned away from the idea and continued down the same path... Knowing that it takes 500 years for a single diaper to dispose is so sad. When I first mentioned going cloth to my hubby he wasn't thrilled, but he wasn't terrified either. He isn't one for much of caring of such things, but definitely doesn't care to put any extra effort in if it isn't absolutely necessary. The other day, however, he said, "I don't understand how our daycare provider prefers Fuzzi Bunz. I love the g Diapers. I could have cared less when we started this journey, but now I wouldn't have it any other way." I about fell over. First of all, he declared a love for cloth! This man finds my concern for our Earth silly and my efforts to preserve it pointless. (I sold him on cloth by focusing on the benefits to our wallets rather than our environment, but he loves something I love and we are one of those opposites attract couples so this is rare!). I am pretty sure our love was rekindled the second he muttered these words. I don't think he understands how much of an impact that had on our relationship. I'm sure he just "knows" that he is so irresistible and thus I am swooning over him. ;) I suppose I have a few points from what I have said here. As far as going Cloth, I am thrilled I did. I love my g Diapers for certain reasons and my Fuzzi Bunz for others, and I am pretty happy with the few Bum Genius and Happy Heinies we have as well! :) I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to try more brands, but again I am a student, mother of 3 and we just cant afford it. It is quite addicting though! I just wish I had the knowledge I do now when I started... Could've saved me quite a bit! My second point is to show how major of an impact such simple things can have, for either good or bad. The little things really do count, including attempting to like the things your significant other likes in order to simply share something... That is such an amazing thing to have as a foundation for an honest, sincere, loving commitment.

How Time Flies!
So in 2010 I decided that I was turning a new leaf, and reading my post, wow do I believe myself! Too bad things didn't go as planned :( But a lot has happened since then! I now work in a store that I love doing things I fully enjoy...I did quite smoking after finding out I was pregnant with my third child who is now a beautiful, bouncing little girl!!! (Still overwhelmed by all the pink and LOVING it!) Eating healthy has fallen by the waste-side but is making its way back to the top of my list, as is exercising and finding that patience of mine! I feel so good about a few of my choices though such as choosing to go CLOTH for my diapers and sincerely enjoying that :) Not many people do that in the small town I am in. I am beginning to do my crafty things again and made the CUTEST little booties for my daughter...I will have to add a picture! So here I am again, and I am going to stick with this blog this time... You can join me on my journey through my continuing love for cloth diapers, searching for my infamous patience, continuing my educational path, working through my past dealings with being in domestically violent relationship, my continuing sobriety from drugs, finally finding a job I sincerely enjoy, raising my three children, my wonderful relationship, the house I bought, oh and did I mention I am getting a dog! A Chesapeake bay retriever :) Naming him Grizz Lee :) And yes focusing again on my exercise and eating right... I do have to say that since I began doing my crafts and things I have been sleeping better than EVER! It has really helped me to clear my head and relax before hitting the hay and I fall asleep within 30 minutes versus the usual 3 hours!!! Well I cannot wait to get back on here and write about something successful... Everyday I want to focus on the sunshine in my life, the thing I accomplished, instead of all the bad that happens...its so easy to list all negative aspects in our lives...I want to recreate the paths in my brain to look for and focus on all the good!!! Well, for today my accomplishment is getting on here and starting this blog again!!!! (OH I do want to add that I am starting to recycle as well and am new to that... so any suggestions would be GREAT! And I also nurse my daughter so that is another task to take on...as well as the boys starting wrestling...oh so busy but I am realizing how much I love keeping busy! OK I am off to bed :) Have a wonderful night!!! See you tomorrow!
